French Avenue Masterclass is a small French language institute started in March 2026 for learners in Sri Lanka. “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to French Avenue Masterclass. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website, blog, contact channels, student registration forms, and related learning services. We are not operated by or officially affiliated with any government body, examination authority, or other language institution.
Information we collect
When you contact us or register as a student, we may collect your student name, date of birth, email address, phone number, course or class interest, and messages or other information you choose to provide. If the student is a minor, a parent or guardian should complete the registration or provide the necessary permission.
We may also receive basic technical information, such as browser type, device information, approximate usage activity, and pages visited, when analytics tools are enabled with your consent.
If you request a refund of a mistaken payment, we may ask for proof of payment and a copy of your National Identity Card (NIC) solely to verify the transaction and confirm your identity. This document is used only for that purpose and is not used for anything else without your consent.
How we use information
We use registration and contact information to respond to inquiries, confirm student registrations, organize classes, communicate schedules and updates, provide student support, and prepare access to the student LMS when that service becomes available.
We may use website and blog usage information to maintain the website, understand which resources are useful, and improve our educational content and services.
Sharing and storage
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share relevant information with trusted service providers that help us host the website, process forms, provide analytics, or operate the LMS. These providers should only receive information needed for the service they provide. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for registration, communication, educational administration, legal, and security purposes. The LMS may have additional account and data rules that will be provided when LMS access is introduced.
Cookies and analytics
The website uses an essential cookie to remember your analytics consent choice. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Vercel Analytics, and Speed Insights are enabled only after you select “Accept analytics” in the cookie notice. You may select “Reject” or manage cookies through your browser settings.
Online payments
We do not currently sell courses, products, or subscriptions through online checkout on this website, and we do not intentionally collect card or online payment details here. If online payment is introduced later, this policy will be updated and any payment provider will present its own terms and privacy information.
